The Cotswold Company adds new Upholstery Hubs to all showrooms as sales soar

The Cotswold Company has introduced new Upholstery Hubs across its showroom estate after sales for its customisable features almost double.

The homeware retailer said it has completed upgrades to all nine of its stores around the UK, which include improvements to visual merchandising, tweaks to in-store layouts and the roll-out of dedicated areas to provide customers with “a one-stop-shop for all their upholstery needs”.

The Cotswold Company said the new hubs have been carefully designed for a fully customisable product and its displays will feature longer drapes, 50 ‘take-home’ swatch fabrics as well as new sofa cards and foot colour options.

The additions come on the back of strong demand for the retailer’s growing range of upholstery products, which has seen sales skyrocket 96% in the year to date.

The Cotswold Company chief executive Ralph Tucker said: “Upholstery is becoming a really important part of our business. In the year to date, we have seen strong demand for sofas, love seats and armchairs, as our customers have sought out high-quality, timelessly designed products for their homes.

“To meet this growing demand, we are excited to roll-out our Upholstery Hubs, which make it even easier for customers to browse our upholstery styles, get design inspiration, and seek expert advice from our in-store colleagues.

“This, combined with our relentless focus on brand and product quality, will help us deliver on our medium-term target to become one of the UK’s leading, premium handcrafted homeware brands.”
