Sephora rolls out loyalty scheme to UK

Sephora has rolled out its loyalty programme, MySephora, to the UK as it “embarks on the next phase” of its business.

The tiered points-based loyalty scheme has been designed to engage and reward the makeup retailer’s shoppers via its unique benefits.

The scheme will offer customers exclusive benefits and rewarding experiences through its gold, silver and bronze tiers, which can be accessed through mobile, desktop, mobile and UK app.

As well as rewarding spend, users can gain points from brand engagement, including reviewing items and visiting in-store services.

Members can swap their points for items from a curated selection of the brand’s best selling goods. MySephora perks also include birthday gifts, an upgraded delivery offer and early access to brand events and sales.

Users can choose to donate to the brand’s charity partner, Face Equality International.

The retailer’s existing loyalty members will be moved to its new MySephora system, without losing unused rewards.

Sephora UK managing director Sarah Boyd said: “As we embark on the next phase of our business, our priority remains our loyal customers who have been the cornerstone of our success.

“It is with great excitement that we announce the expansion of our customer loyalty programme. This milestone underscores our commitment to providing unparalleled rewards and experiences to our valued customers.”

Sephora, which launched in the UK two years ago in Westfield London, and has since open two further stores in Westfield Stratford City and Manchester’s Trafford Centre.

It is set to open two new stores in the north east later this year in the Metro Centre and Eldon Square, Newcastle.
