Superdrug opens largest UK store at Westfield Stratford

Superdrug opened the doors to its biggest UK store today (28 June) in Westfield Stratford, London.

The health and beauty giant’s new “bigger and better” 9,890 sq. ft store, which has doubled in size, comes as the business looks to expand its bricks-and-mortar retail footprint.

Last month it revealed plans to open 25 new stores in 2024, as it celebrates its 60th year on the British high street.

The retailer’s newly extended store will offer customers access to the latest health and beauty products, everyday toiletries, beauty treatments and luxury fragrances, such as Superdrug’s own-brand cosmetics range Studio London and other best-selling ranges including B. Skin, Me+, Vitamin E and more.

The space will also house the store’s new fragrance counter and Beauty Studio, which has doubled in size.

Shoppers will be able to access professional treatments at affordable prices, including eyebrow, lash, nail and piercing services.

Superdrug property director Nigel Duxbury said “We are delighted to be opening an even bigger store at Westfield Stratford, making it the largest Superdrug store in the UK.

“We are confident that local customers will be excited by the new store offering and enjoy our ranges of popular health and beauty brands, luxury fragrance counter and professional Beauty Studio.”
