Sainsbury‘s will follow in Asda‘s and Waitrose‘s footsteps by launching click and collect from London tube station car parks.

The service, which will initially be launched from seven stations, will begin this summer.

Sainsbury‘s online director Robbie Feather, said: “We are confident that the combination of Sainsbury‘s quality and great service combined with the convenience that this brings will be a real hit with customers.”

The service will be free through July and August and following that, will cost £1.99 if £20 worth of goods is bought. Items can be picked up at Oakwood, Totteridge & Whetstone, Woodside Park, Leytonstone, Loughton, Debden and South Woodford.
